Advanced Render Course

The course is designed to teach you all aspects of rendering whether you are a beginner or have some previous knowledge.

Units covered:

• Introduction to tools, materials and mixes
• Cut and Fix angle and bellcast beads
• Apply scratchcoats to walls, beams, piers and reveals
• Application of topcoat and finishes
• Fixing rules around window and door openings to form hard angles
• Fixing battens above DPC and forming bellcast drip

Optional:

• Ashlar jointing and blockwork
• Forming quoinstones
• Tyrolean and pebbledash topcoats
• Application of K-REND
• Application of MONOCOUCHE
• Pargeting
